INTRODUCTION
Smart Tracker is an inventory management platform built to streamline how industrial cylinders are tracked and managed. It brings cylinder types, gas types, customers, refillers, maintainers, and vehicles together into one view, and gives the team steady reporting and tight control across the entire cylinder lifecycle.
The story
Smart Tracker grew out of the need to bring efficiency to industrial gas cylinder operations. Manual methods had been making it difficult to keep track of every cylinder, and small slip-ups in inventory counts or delivery scheduling were adding up across the year.
The platform introduced real-time tracking, automatic notifications, and clear reporting, lifting operational efficiency, freeing the team from financial loss tied to manual gaps, and keeping customers steadily served.
The challenges
Bringing cylinder operations into clearer view called for steady, considered optimisation of how cylinders moved through the network, with cost and resource efficiency in mind at every step.
Migrating from paper-based and manual records into a clean digital system needed careful attention, so that every record arrived in the platform exactly as the team remembered it.
Helping the operations team adopt the new platform meant a thoughtful change management approach, with familiar workflows built into the new tooling.
And the distributor's specific operational needs called for custom features and workflows woven into the foundation, so the platform fit the way the business actually runs.

The scope spanned a full inventory and operations platform, with the reporting, transaction handling, and access controls needed to run a distributed cylinder business with confidence.
